Hailey Buzbee Missing, 3 Hamilton County Teen Girls Reported Missing

Family Fears Missing Indiana Teen May Be in Danger as Community Rallies to Find Her

A 17-year-old student from Hamilton Southeastern High School has been missing since early January, and her family now fears she may be in a dangerous situation. Hailey Buzbee, who lives in Fishers, Indiana, is listed as a runaway by the Fishers Police Department, but her parents say the circumstances surrounding her disappearance raise serious concerns.

Hailey was last seen by her parents around 10 p.m. on January 5, according to her father, Beau Buzbee, who spoke with IndyStar. He believes she left their home in the Enclave at Vermillion neighborhood during the early morning hours of January 6. Based on the timing and conditions, Beau says he does not believe his daughter could have left on her own.

“Based on when she left, she couldn’t have done that alone,” Buzbee said. As days pass without answers, the family’s worry has grown, especially given Hailey’s age and the lack of confirmed information about her whereabouts.

Despite the fear and uncertainty, the Buzbee family says the response from the community has been overwhelming and deeply meaningful. “Real progress has been made by the community because of the outreach and concern for her,” Beau Buzbee said. “We’ve shared as much as we possibly can. People have given us the hope and strength that we need.” Authorities continue to investigate, and the family urges anyone with information to come forward immediately, stressing that every detail could matter in bringing Hailey home safely.
